The festivities of O\u00f1ati are deeply rooted in traditional culture. The most outstanding ones are an International Sheepdog Trial and the Herri Eguna day, a exaltation of rural culture with vegetable, fruit, livestock and cheese contests, craft exhibition, bertsolaris (poets who improvise verses in Basque), trikitixa traditional music, concerts\u2026 and a a lot of typical food such as talo with txorizo (typical Basque food similar to the traditional tortilla of Central America, made of corn flour and water, with pork sausage).<\/p>\n

We should not forget the day, of the Virgin of Arantzazu, which is celebrated the 9th of September.<\/p>\n
