Pottokaleku: Interpretation Centre of “Pottoka”, a native horse breed
“Pottoka” is one of the most ancient horse breeds of Europa, which only can be found in the Basque Country. Just a few hundreds of pottokas are left nowadays. Stroke them, brush them, feed them, rein them, lead them… And, of course, ride them and enjoy a brief tour! You will live a unique experience!
This experience is specially prepared for having fun with family, encouraging participation and interaction of the youngest ones along with parents and companions as well as promoting knowledge of the natural environment and respect for animals. Besides contact with horses, we can pursue an emotional relation with them, achieving a state of harmony and peace with the four-legged animals living in absolute freedom.
